My facilitating services are offered virtually through Zoom teleconferencing, ensuring that everyone can be seen and heard clearly. Connecting from a safe and quiet space without distractions is crucial for your ability to focus and maintain the confidentiality of the group. If other people need to be present in the room, use a headset – this way, they will hear you speaking, but not the conversations of others. If you will be using a desktop computer, a separate web camera is necessary. However, you DO NOT need anything additional if you are using a modern laptop, iPod, or smartphone, as those devices have built-in cameras and microphones. The best way to participate is through your computer. Your rooms should have indirect lighting as much as possible, providing good coverage to ensure everyone can be seen and heard well. Configuring Audio: If you are having issues hearing others or being heard, select 'audio options' and 'test computer Mic & Speaker'. Configuring Video: For 'video', select the up arrow and video settings to check the camera selected.
